BMW X4, X5 & X6 Prices in Nigeria Review
For decades now, the 3 Series has been the cornerstone of BMW’s product lineup. Things are different now, not least because all coupes and convertibles are now 4 Series models.Other car-shaped core products include the 5 Series and 7 Series, plus the Z4 roadster and big-boy 8 Series grand tourer.
BMW got into the SUV game at the turn of the millennium with the original X5. Two decades later it has a full lineup of high-riders, from X1 right through to three-row X7.
BMW X4, X5 and X6 follow the same thrill of remarkable success, from their designs to their amazing features; you will not expect anything else. BMW has thrived always in Nigeria. Now let’s take a look at how much these cars go for in the current market space in Nigeria.
Prices of BMW X4 in Nigeria
The BMW 4-Series is available in three different body styles: coupe, convertible and what BMW calls the “Gran Coupe.” All three body styles have rear seats, but the Gran Coupe has a pair of rear doors for easier access to the back seats. Despite the additional doors, the 4-Series Gran Coupe maintains the sloping, swoopy roofline of the 4-Series coupe, giving it a good compromise between coupe styling and sedan practicality.
There are two engines available in the 4-Series: 430i models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that makes 248 horsepower, while 440i models are powered by a turbocharged 3.0L 6-cylinder producing 320 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, while a 6-speed manual is a no-cost option on most models. BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive is an option and can be paired with any body-style and with any engine, though it does restrict transmission choice to the automatic only. In all, there are four trim levels available with each body style: 430i, 430i xDrive, 440i and 440i xDrive. Optioned correctly, the BMW 430i is able to achieve up to 35 mpg on the highway.
The performance-oriented M4 gets a 3.0L twin-turbocharged six-cylinder. It produces an impressive 420 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. M4 models are rear-wheel-drive only and get a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Trim levels are all similarly equipped across the range, meaning that every 4-Series includes 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, heated side mirrors with a power folding function, eight-way power adjustable front seats, a wood-trimmed interior, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, nine-speaker sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, a powered glass moonroof, automatic climate control, BMW’s iDrive system with a 6.5-inch color LCD screen, dynamic cruise control and rain-sensing wipers.
The M4 comes with a few more standard items, such as adaptive suspension, touch-screen navigation, Harman/Kardon surround audio and dynamic cruise control.
