About Cutix Plc
Before we go on with this post, it is only wise to learn a little about Cutix Plc. This company was established by Dr Ajulu Uzodike. The company was incorporated in 1982 as a private limited company to manufacture electric wires and cables.
By the first year of operation, some relations and friends of the founder as well as some of the foundation staff were invited to invest in the company’s projects. Following a private advert placement, eighteen individuals emerged as shareholders and invested in Cutix Plc and its sister company, Adtec Ltd. This process resulted in raising four hundred thousand naira for both companies.
By 1984, Cutix Plc began the production of cables with one extrusion line. It acquired the second production line by the next year and by 1986, several other production lines had been acquired. Each machine was inspected, specified, installed, and commissioned by the staff of Cutix Plc.
The company also ensured the incorporation of several locally fabricated parts without reducing the overall efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process. It acquired all the licenses necessary to manufacture wires and cables within the shores of Nigeria within this period as well.
